Pink Persimmon Blog Hop!

I LOVE Pink Persimmon's vintage-inspired stamps, and am jumping in to play along with their card blog hop!

Here is the card sketch they provided:



And here is my take for Kelly's blog:



The white space on this card feels fresh and "Springy" to me, JUST what I need during these freezing winter months! It features an embossed butterfly and some teeny "paper-pieced", double layered butterflies.

And my take for Linda's blog:



This one didn't *quite* turn out as planned, hehe, but hey, it's a card completed, and the SHIMMER on this one IRL is awesome, so I'm good with it. :)

More of my favorite Pink Persimmon alpha, along with these sweet little geese vintage stamps that were a gift from my grandma...they turned out so cute detailed with Smooch ink in moonlight and pool blue. :)

A Little Card Love...

I've been gettin' down-&-dirty lately, playing with all my glitter, embossing powders, markers, mists, and paints...feels oh-so-good to really immerse myself in my artsy supplies and get creative with them! :)

Here's a card that I glitzed up with Shimmerz, black-glitter and gold emboss, with a sheer base and some fun pompom trim:





And, for my fairy-loving daughter, I sewed this journal together out of handmade papers and envelopes, and painted the cover with Copics and Smooch ink:






Ahhh, fairies, glitter, and butterflies...making me happy on this cold winter day! :)

Love Is In The Air

After getting some great V-day decor inspiration from Ali Edwards, Elizabeth Kartchner, Rhonna Farrer, and Scrapologie, I decided to spruce up a little corner in my living room:









The heart banner was simply sewn, using some years-old paper and some awesome vintage images from places like Scrapologie...I had fun misting EVERYTHING with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist, and LOVE that heart-shaped floating frame I found @ Michaels!!

Pretty. Happy. Fun. :)

Haiti Help

I've been (im)patiently waiting for this AMAZING kit from Songbird Avenue to be released, and now it's here!

Such a great idea...over 56 of the top digital designers have contributed elements to this HUGE digital kit, and ALL of the proceeds to to Doctors Without Borders. They've already raised over $1700!

A fabulous kit for a meaningful cause...I whipped up a page right away, such fun elements in this kit!
