June Snobby Sneaks!

June's Snobby Walrus kit, Dirty Martini, is packed full of some great stuff, including a mini-album, some Tim Holtz crackle-goodness, and some Hambly and G45...perfect for Father's Day! :)

More First Midnight Run...

I'm sorry for neglecting you, poor blog, but to make up for it, here are the rest of my May Midnight Rooster layouts! :)



LOVE the dark chocolate buttons in this kit, and had fun misting the lolly flowers with Marshmallow glimmer mist, and the doily (swoon!) with Key Lime Shimmerz paint:





Used up lots of scraps by punching out shapes from the gorgeous Cosmo and Sass paper I had left over:



I have used this October Afternoon Fireflies paper SO much lately and I could still use a couple more sheets of it! :)



The color, deckle-edges, and distressed brown lines of the Prima packaging in the kit worked great as accents and a journaling block.



These frayed, pinked-edge flowers were so quick and easy using the FAB fabric in the kit:

More Snobby Creations!

Time to share more projects I created with the truly unique and vintage-FABULOUS Snobby Walrus debut kit, Puddle Jumping!

I used more INCREDIBLE 7 Gypsies paper on this layout, along with some great stuff from Marks and Glitz:





I also created this one-of-a-kind mini album using vintage postcards from the kit...my daughters LOVED the handwritten sentiments on the cards, so I left them exposed, and rimmed the first photo in the album with Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type:






And finally, here's one of my favorite recent layouts...I adore the photos of my grandparents (taken by Wendy Anderson Photography):





I transferred the Glitz rub-ons to a Hambly clear overlay scrap, to create accents...I also got messy with crackle paint, Spring Rain mist, and cream paint to create some fun looks on this page.

First Midnight Run!

It's really, truly, finally that time...time for Midnight Rooster's kit-club and website debut!



The first kit is called First Midnight Run, and is available HERE!

Both the kit and the add-on kit feature EXCLUSIVE products like this rooster stamp:



and this handmade fabric banner and custom-stitched bingo card:



Awesome, am I right!?!

Now for some of my designs with this incredible kit!

This first layout is all about receiving my first MR kit in the mail:



Yes, I dork-ily self-timered to get this jumping shot of me with the kit! ;)



Check out that darling rooster stamp! It's designed by Michele from Purple Onion Designs...the rubber is deeply-etched and such great quality...here I stamped it with Versamark ink on kraft.



The doilies in this kit are soft and luscious and GORGEOUS!! Can't get enough of them! Here, I spritzed them with Lemon Maya Mist...I rubbed some mist on the Jenni Bowlin buttons too!



This second layout showcases a lot of the kit papers...I used pleating, rolling, border punches, and gorgeous trim to create this happy little rainbow:



I detailed the little girl image with copics and smooch inks, and added a tiny vintage flower from my stash.

Ok, one more layout for now, and I'll show you more later! (so this is isn't the longest image-heavy post ever, hehe)

This third layout showcases the AMAZING handmade banner in the kit. I used it to create a beachy-sun accent for my page:



Lastly, here's a teeny peek of my mini-album...I used the fabric from the kit, along with a little batting, stitching, and the packaging from the Jenni Bowlin buttons, to create the album cover for this:

Rooster Sneaks!

Puddle Jumping Debut!

I'm so happy to share my first project created with the debut Snobby Walrus Paper Crafts kit, Puddle Jumping!



This kit has a GREAT mix of fresh spring products, like the Sassafras and American Crafts shown here, combined with awesome vintage touches like Prima lace and antique buttons. Plus, I'm in LOVE with this fleur-de-lis 7G paper!



The handmade flower was created with the leftover paper strip (that lists the manufacturer, etc)...I folded it in half lengthwise, pleated it into a flower, sprinkled it with chunky glitter, and misted it lots with the Spring Rain mist that comes with the kit:
