Giveaway at Pretty Little Studio!
Spring is on its way in these parts (although the weather hardly feels like it yet, heee).
Just in time for Easter, Pretty Little Studio is releasing the Hopscotch collection:
For a chance to win this loveliness, leave a comment on the PLS blog HERE.
Here is my latest project showcasing PLS products:
How adorable is this Tea Party Collection?!
I love the garlands, the delicate tea set, the flashcards, the diecut papers, AND the gorgeous vintage-girl images!

It's Party Time!!!
Where have I been?
Busy hosting back-to-back Tinkerbell parties for my growing-up-too-fast TEN-year-old!
Wow, time flies...I'm cherishing this year as possibly the last time she asks for a theme party like this.
Sooooo...for the parties I made her a Tinkerbell chandelier. I've been loving the different types of paper chandeliers and mobiles I've seen online lately, and decided to try one of my own!
It's far less elaborate than most I've seen, but I love the way it turned out:
Here's a little peek at the "fairy food" we had...served on vintage leaf dishes & a cute little serving set I found at a craft store:
Hope you liked this little peek into our party-filled weekend...it was a great time & I'm so grateful to have a sweet girl who still loves Tinkerbell for a little while longer. :-)

Simple and sparkly and the perfect touch for a bit more "grown-up" Tinkerbell theme.

PLS and Just For Me...
First up, go check out Pretty Little Studio to see my first Valentine's Day project!
Vintage images + V-day = true love! :)
Next up, a layout I made last night "just for me"...no specific manufacturer, challenge, kit, etc...just me and some favorite photos & products:
Creating this, I realized how LONG it's been since I started with photos + a story to tell FIRST, rather than product first, for a kit/call/company. Such fun to switch it up, back to my "roots" so to speak. :-)

Mad for Pink Reveal!
That's right, it's time for Midnight Rooster's February kit, Mad For Pink!
Here's a look at some of my projects:
My favorite thing in this kit? The Girls' Paperie sticker set! It has SO much in it: border stickers, large alpha, small alpha, plus TWO pages of those adorable ledger word stickers. Awesome.
Here's a look at some of my projects:

Added a touch of Hambly & had fun with brackets & medallions.

The OA paper was perfect to cut "x"s out of for my XOXO title.

Love the Maya tickets and Blossoms!

This one is a bit of a hot mess, lol, but LOVE the scallop/floral stamp & custom pins, & the detail-colored OA girl!

Super-eclectic on this one, with pastels & black...colored in some of the fabric dots with pink glitter pen.

Lift Myself & Someone Else...
A couple projects to show you today!
First, I scraplifted myself! Using this as a sketch:
I made this:
Things I Love: Scraplifting yourself is MUCH faster than starting from scratch. :) Love the vintage heart-doily stamp I used as frames, and the layered title block.
Things *not so sure*: Didn't end up liking the photo placement as much on the 2nd one; feel like I should have left off the bottom-most photo and shortened that column.
Great experiment, though, and one I WILL try again.
Next up, my Heidi Kelley Style-Swap inspiration piece from last weeks challenge @ The Color Room:
Had SUCH a blast gettin' messy with modeling paste, microbeads, inks, and mists. Love Heidi's free-spirited, artsy style!
Fun, happy, artsy texture...makes me smile. :-)
