Serendipity Blog Hop @ Elle's Studio...

Elle’s Studio is excited to announce the arrival of their new line, perfect for spring, called Serendipity! This new collection includes 12 x 12 papers, journaling and embellishment tags, and a stamp, and we’ve put together a blog hop today to celebrate.

Here's my project, using the gorgeous new Serendipity collection:

The color of this background paper is perfection, and I love the versatility of all the phrases & sentiments it includes.  I love the palette & patterns of the fun new circle tidbits & large journaling cards...so bright & happy, but soft & lovely too!

If you are looking for the Serendipity collection online, you can purchase the entire collection at:
and of course, at Elle’s Studio
You’ll also want to check your local scrapbook store, too!

Elle’s Studio also has a fun surprise for this launch! They have stocked a special, limited edition pack that includes two sheets of exclusive printed vellum and 5 fun tag designs that would make a great spring mini book and more! Once these are sold out, they will not be restocking. Also, don’t forget that for the entire month of March, Elle’s Studio is celebrating their 6th birthday and all orders ship with a free gift!
Now for the fun part of a blog hop...the giveaway!  Each design team member is giving away a favorite product from the new Serendipity collection.  I've chosen my CHA fave, the Serendipity Tiny Tags:
Please leave a comment below to be entered to win and check back here on Saturday, March 30th to see if you’ve won.

Don’t forget the other stops of our hop today! At each stop you’ll get to see a fun project that was created just for this hop and a chance to win everyone’s favorite part of the Serendipity collection.

Mist Challenge @ Elle's Studio...

A new type of challenge debuts this month at Elle's Studio.
Every 1st & 3rd Wednesday, a challenge will be up on the blog, with some inspiration examples from various designers.
This very first challenge is this:

Use mist + Elle's Studio papers!

Here is my inspiration layout:

The effect is subtle online, but if you look closely, you can see my masked circles, oversprayed with gold & white spray inks...here's a close-up shot:

The stitched circles are my homage to the ever-amazing Sasha Farina. :)  Love how this looks on the awesome grey paper from Elle's Studio Day to Day collection.

To play along, and to check out some awesome examples from Jill Sprott & Megan Klauer, head over to the blog!

Glitz+Gossamer Blue...

It's no secret that my favorite release of all CHA this year was from Glitz Design.
And it's also no secret that one of the coolest up-and-coming kit clubs of the past year is Gossamer Blue.

So it stands to reason that I would definitely have to enter this contest sponsered by both amazing companies!

Here come the projects:

I just love the options with these new Glitz collections...here, I've combined Uncharted Waters & Color Me Happy for a fun pastel-palette layout.

Next up, a multi-photo layout:

Simple, bold, and colorful...rainbow-prism photos + rainbow-chevron tape=happiness. :)

Third, a beachy layout, using Glitz Bits & Pieces paper frames:

Love how the anchor roller stamp looks with the white paint+chalkboard background.

And last-but-not-least, a layout I made just this morning:

I love every accent in this Glitz Color Me Happy Whatnots pack, featured in March's Main Add-on kit from Gossamer Blue.

Thanks for stopping by today, and wishing you a wonderful, crafty weekend!

Elle's Studio + Paper Bakery!

All week long, Elle's Studio & Paper Bakery kit club are teaming up to inspire you with all types of cool projects, layouts, cards, and mixed media fun...plus a giveaway of course!

I had the pleasure of working with the March mixed media kit from Paper Bakery, Greasy Diner.
Here's a peek at the contents of this sweet altered-book kit:
Along with a stencil, brush, and some wonderful art mediums, it comes with tags and my favorite stamp from Elle's Studio.

Here's what I created with it all:

I'm halfway through TWO jars of this inka gold...it is hands-down my FAVORITE art medium currently. I'm obsessed.

I used a circle cutter to create this peek-a-boo page on the title page of the book.

The Sangria glaze comes with a nail-polish style applicator, making it easy to draw, fill-in, or splatter.

Love the mix of matte gesso, glossy red, and shimmery gold in this kit.
The triangles are part of an exclusive Paper Bakery .svg file set, designed by the fabulous Laina Lamb.

The flair are an exclusive set, designed by Elle's Studio & sold only at Paper Bakery!

For a GIVEAWAY, more photos of this project, plus a tutorial and some projects by another favorite of mine, Shellye McDaniel, go check out both the Paper Bakery & Elle's Studio blogs.

March @ Elle's Studio...

Happy to be sharing my March projects for the fabulous Elle's Studio...it was a pleasure to work with these two new product lines: Day to Day & You and Me.

Mixed blacks, white, and grays with a touch of yellow, and some fun clear buttons and wood accents.

Added some subtle stamping to accent the chalkboard paper.

Up next, a favorite color palette of mine: navy, kraft, gold.

These new tabbed journaling cards make for a great design element on the page, and the stamps emboss beautifully with gold glitter:

Last, a quick&simple card, for my husband's birthday.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
